Meet The Company

Sin City Players is a new theatre company on the Las Vegas scene.  It is founded and run by local actors who want to make a difference and breathe new life, into the Las Vegas theatre community.

Jack Stroud

Originally from The UK, Jack was trained and worked both as an actor and stage manager, before moving to Los Angeles.   He worked behind the camera as a dolly grip, for 30 years, in film and TV but he never lost his love for acting.  He appeared in various productions around LA  and was a resident member of Creating Arts Company in Santa Monica.  Jack acted and directed, for 5 years, in the Hollywood Fringe Festival.  He has appeared on screen numerous times, most notably in the lead role of Ironwest Film's "All In."  Jack moved to Las Vegas in 2021.

Shakien R. Smith (Gabe)

The feelings of adventure and imagination he felt as a young man were something Gabe wanted to inspire in others.  Serving in the United States Marine Corps, Gabe relocated to Los Angeles to pursue his dream of becoming an actor—but instead, he gave in to outde voices and chose to complete his degree in Accounting.  Still feeling that something was missing, Gabe spent a year in the cinema program at Los Angeles City College,  He then relocated back to Las Vegas to sharpen his craft and act whenever, wherever, and however possible.

Edan Dingle

Edan is currently studying theatre at The University of Nevada, Las Vegas, with a concentration on stage and screen acting.  He has acted and worked in both theatre productions for multiple Las Vegas theatre companies and several film productions.  He has felt, for a long time, that something was missing in the Las Vegas theatre community and he hopes to fill that gap with his fellow colleagues and friends.

Alan Roberts

A native of the Los Angeles area, Alan has always had a love of acting, theatre and film.  He also has a secret love of performing magic.   Alan began acting in theatre at the age of 13 and has also done some work in film.   In addition to acting, he spent 25 years as a radio personality on various radio stations across the country, including Las Vegas.  In 2017, he became a proud  inductee in The Radio Broadcasting Hall of Fame.  Alan is always looking for that next acting opportunity and is excited to see what Sin City Players will add to the Vegas theatre community.
